Thank you to Courtesy of the Artist for featuring my new collection, Neptune in their latest Issue of ‘The Parti’ – a monthly newsletter sharing a mix of colourful news, artist tales, noteworthy events and exhibitions along with all things happening in their world.

Here is a snippet of the feature, accompanied with images by photographer Kimberley Low who joined me on a recent trip to Jervis Bay where I photographed the Neptune jewellery collection.

ISSUE 15 – NEPTUNE’S PARTI

The beach means something different to us all. For some, it’s summers spent on the sand with friends. For others, it’s home – or even a time capsule of years gone by. For Sydney jeweller Marina Antoniou, the beaches of Jervis Bay have been a generations-long destination for family getaways, making it a natural place for reflection and inspiration.

Her new bespoke collection, Neptune, is an exploration of the marine flora native to Jervis Bay, using an extraordinary selection of Australian gemstones. We accompanied Marina to shoot the pieces for Neptune – she photographs all her jewellery herself – and gained a rare insight into Marina’s creative world.
