The Eucalypt series is a constantly evolving collection that draws inspiration from the natural beauty of Australian eucalypts. Each piece in this collection of necklaces, earrings, and rings is meticulously crafted to capture the essence of different eucalypt species found across Australia.
What sets this collection apart is the use of only Australian gemstones in each and every single piece created, such as Australian sapphires, Australian opals, and Australian diamonds, sourced from the heart of the Australian outback. These precious gemstones not only complement the natural beauty of the eucalypt-inspired design, but also pay homage to the rich and diverse landscapes of Australia.
From the series is the Purple Patch Eucalypt Necklace, (below right) a limited edition pendant inspired by the ‘Eucalyptus Purple Patch’, a native species remarkable for its startling clusters of purple bird-attracting flowers. With branches gently weeping, this rare species has leaves that are are long, slender, and silver-grey. This pendant features a beautifully rare purple sapphire from Lava Plains in Queensland clustered with an opal and diamond, also both from Australia.
One of the most exciting features of this design is its customisability. Client’s have the opportunity to personalise their own Eucalypt by choosing their own gemstones, creating a truly unique and meaningful piece.
The Snow Gum Eucalypt Ring (below left) was a custom piece, handcrafted in 18ct white gold for a client who lives in Kosciusko National Park. The client’s house is surrounded by native snow gums (Eucalyptus Pauciflora). As snow gums mature, they develop smooth bark ranging in colour from green to grey and cream (which is why we chose this incredibly unique blue grey Australian sapphire from Queensland). Leaves are large, glossy, and waxy and white flowers appear during the warmer months, followed by large gumnuts.
