Purple Patch Eucalypt Necklace

A limited edition pendant in my signature design inspired by the ‘Eucalyptus Purple Patch’, a native species remarkable for its startling clusters of purple bird-attracting flowers. With branches gently weeping, this rare species has leaves that are are long, slender, and silver-grey. This pendant features a beautifully rare purple sapphire from Lava Plains in Queensland clustered with an opal and diamond, also both from Australia.

An 18ct white gold Eucalypt pendant (12mm x 8mm) set with a round purple Australian sapphire from Lava Plains in Queensland (0.13ct), a marquise Australian opal from Andamooka, South Australia (0.16ct) and a round Australian Argyle diamond from Western Australia (0.037ct). The pendant has a brushed, matte finish and hangs from a 45cm 9ct white gold fine trace chain.

Handmade in Sydney, Australia.

First launched in 2015 by Courtesy of the Artist, Rare Earth: Australian made is a contemporary fine jewellery collection that celebrates Australia’s most coveted gemstones.

“I have a very strong connection to and am continually inspired by the rich biodiversity and natural landscapes of our unique and beautiful country. Over the years, my Rare Earth: Australian Made collections have drawn inspiration from Australia’s natural wonders, in particular those I have had the pleasure of experiencing and exploring first hand. The outback opal mining town of Andamooka, South Australia and my home away from home, the tall coastal forests that edge the shores of the waters of Jervis Bay on the NSW south coast continually inspire my Rare Earth body of work.”
