/  A Mother’s Day Story

This is one of those photos I know I’ll treasure forever.

My Mum. My youngest daughter. And in their hands, two necklaces I made – two hearts, different sizes, same shape.

I call them ‘From the Heart’ because that’s exactly where they have come from.

My daughters hands, held by my Mum – the woman who taught me/still teaches me so much. She’s been one of the strongest parts of my life, the one who made everything feel safe and possible. Her heart has always felt like home.

And then there’s my daughters hands, holding both hearts. She’s three now, but somehow both tiny and mighty, full of questions and magic. She’s the reason I look at the world with fresh eyes. Watching her and my eldest girl grow has been the most heart-expanding experience.

I made these necklaces with both of them in mind. A way to capture the connection between generations – the wisdom that gets passed down, the love that never leaves us. They’re simple pieces but they carry so much meaning.

This Mother’s Day, I’m sharing a little bit of that meaning with you. Maybe these hearts will remind you of someone you carry with you. Maybe they’ll become keepsakes for your own story – whether you’re a Mum, missing a Mum, hoping to be one, or celebrating the women who’ve held you up along the way.

Celebrate your story and shop From the Heart.
