/  14 Years at the Bench: A Journey of Craft

Over the past 14 years, my Sydney jewellery studio has been a space of constant evolution and growth. Yet, no matter how much changes, one thing remains at the heart of it all: the deep honour I feel practicing the ancient craft of jewellery making. This work is more than a profession. The tradition of creating something meaningful and lasting by hand connects me to artisans across time, and that connection drives my passion daily.

Though I may not show my face here often, it’s my hands that truly matter. Every piece I create at the bench represents a story, a vision shared with my clients. Whether working with rare Australian sapphires, iridescent Australian opals or crafting intricate, bespoke designs, the creative process is intimate and intentional. From the initial sketch to the finished piece, each step is a moment to honour the materials and the people who entrust me with their dreams.

To me, jewellery making is about crafting personal narratives into pieces that can be cherished for a lifetime. As I reflect on these past years, I am deeply grateful for the trust, creativity, and inspiration that have shaped this journey, and I look forward to what lies ahead.
