/  A New Era for Old Diamonds

Some jewellery pieces hold more than just beauty – they carry memories, milestones and stories that deserve to be honoured, not hidden away. This bespoke cluster necklace is a true example of that sentiment.

Repurposed with meaning, the design brings together white diamonds and pink Australian Argyle diamonds, carefully removed from my client’s old jewellery and given a new life. These stones have been part of her story for years – and now, they continue their journey, reimagined in a way that honours both past and present.

What makes this heirloom cluster necklace piece even more special is the addition of two rare pink sapphires from Barrington Tops in New South Wales – a truly exceptional find from Nina Cueva of Courtesy of the Artist incredible gemstone vault. Together with the Argyle pinks, these Australian gems sit side by side, creating an 18ct rose gold cluster that celebrates not only the artistry of heirloom transformation but also the incredible rarity of our local gemstones.

To be entrusted with such precious materials – some already so rich with personal significance – and to source others that are equally rare and meaningful is both a privilege and a joy. This necklace is more than a piece of jewellery. It’s a connection between past and future, a tribute to Australian gemstones, and a reminder of the enduring stories we wear close to our hearts.
