“This beautiful Australian black opal was originally set in a brooch, gifted to my client’s mother for her 21st birthday in 1949 when the family was living in Goulburn, NSW. It was chosen by her grandfather to mark such a special milestone. Now more than 70 years later, I had the privilege of breathing new life into the opal … remodelling it into a ring that will carry the layered stories of three generations.”
